Us old people experience things like this. Mine came with a seizure. My lady thinks of everything in an emergency and jammed an aspirin between my clacking teeth, then climbed aboard and pinned the elbow below my damaged shoulder against me with her knee. I remember going down the steps on the EMT's litter, and afterwards. Joy is my hero.

It's been years since. I'd say I'm okay, perfectly normal, but the last part is clearly a lie and the first part is my unreliable judgement.

Love your mother!

Having had a minor stroke myself back in 2011 I know how she's feeling sort of -- obviously it's different for everyone, but it all comes down to the same thing as the crux of the matter. I hope she's not effected too badly by it.

No matter what your last words are you should both remember a time when you both were each other's entire world. Love like that should be hard to forget but it seams fleeting these days.

I hope everything works out the way you hope.
