Outside of their politics, are these people nice people, kind, thoughtful, helpful, pleasant (not just interesting) to talk to?

Love that you are constantly entering the lion's den if that's not too complimentary of these far right weirdos whose brains developed but emotionally are still twelve.

I do not understand why anyone lets these fantasists live rent free inside their heads.

Yarvin actually looks kind of Pakistani.

"He says men do not take women seriously because they are not serious people, and that if only women could hear how men speak about them behind their backs, we would cry."

--- Well, those men, maybe. And no, they wouldn't "cry" because most women don't give a f what those men think about them. However I will say that if those men (and some other men too) could hear how women speak about them behind their backs, their suicide rates would be even higher.

Stella hangs out with hobbits who wish they were elves.

She score a selfy with Lotho himself (Lotho alone in a a restaurant, at the top of her post). In the selfie, check out Lotho’s eyebrow creases, the opposite of laugh lines.

These are one of our species’ great markers for a self-involved, pompous asshole.

Thank you Stella for going into these dark places (the back end of Bag End) so we don’t have to.

I would've come to offer some BIPOC representation, but unfortunately out of the country.

"Curtis quietly passes his phone to me to show a study that says present-day African populations inherited genes from an unknown archaic population that diverged before modern humans and Neanderthals split. I am puzzled. What does this mean? They are 20% animal, he says with total stoicism."

And is it not the case with South East Asians as well, and these little critters, the "hobbits?" So, no, his statement, in itself, is not particularly convincing.

There was a young British white supremacist lady on Youtube years ago who had some South Asian (Indian) ancestry. Tara something was her name. She was banned. She bragged about "Neanderthal DNA". Saying this is what distinguished "white people" from "everybody else". What?! Obviously she knew nothing about human evolution and genetics. Then there was Vox Day, another white supremacist who claimed that people with "neanderthal dna" were more evolved, more advanced than people without it. According to him the people without it were Africans. He did say however that Africans had more human dna than non-Africans and that they could look at that as something to brag about. Nevertheless he posited that the mix of human dna and neanderthal dna made white people and Asians superior to Africans.

These people are complete idiots. They throw out terms like "neanderthal" and "dna" and "evolution" and think that is supposed to make others think they are smart. What are we in kindergarten? These are big words all of a sudden?

The only people on the planet without "neanderthal dna" are a small, obscure tribe in a remote area of the African continent. And by now "neanderthal dna" has probably been found in them too.

As far as the Sentinelese in South Asia, it is unknown whether or not they have it because I don't think any tests have been done on them. They don't let outsiders near them.

But the question remains: why are white supremacists obsessed with neanderthal dna?
